Jonathan Menuhin, PhD
Jonathan's career has focused on links between organizational processes and strategic needs for more than 20 years, working as an Organizational Development consultant; an economics and business consultant in EBRD and the World Bank projects; business strategy researcher and lecturer, managing the Israeli major CSR and Sustainability consultancy; and as the Institute CEO. Jonathan received his PhD from Warwick Business School (UK) on analyzing HSBC (UK) innovation processes and has BA and MA degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Tal Biran Ben Gal
Director, Strategic Collaborations
Tal has gained experience in analyzing initiatives and projects, incorporating goals, resources and the required operational structure. In her previous position as Director of HealthIL (formerly BeWell.il), Tal initiated innovative partnerships and projects aimed to strengthen the health care ecosystem in Israel. Successfully planning, implementing, and executing ventures locally and globally while harnessing the power of key players in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining the institute, Tal managed government projects with the collaboration of the European Union. Tal holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Faculty of Economics at La Spinza University in Rome, where she graduated with honors.
Executive Director, EcoMotion
Eviatar Tron is a seasoned integration engineer and a manager. Eviatar worked in General Motors for 8 years, managing an integration team for AV and EVs, and throughout his career has led multiple complex engineering projects in the domains of IT, wind power, manufacturing and automotive (autonomous). Eviatar was the CEO of startup in energy efficiency, and was involved in founding startups in agriculture, manufacturing, mini-grids and wind energy. Eviatar also acted as technical and economical consultant to investors doing due diligence on startups. Apart from his M.Sc. in engineering, Eviatar also holds a diploma in Industrial Entrepreneurship from Lahav Executive Education of Coller School of Management, Tel-Aviv University and Iscar Lavon industrial college.
Sivan Cohen Shachari
Sivan is the executive director of DeserTech, a non-profit desert technologies innovation ecosystem which plays a key part in the Negev regional economic development initiative. DeserTech is a joint venture of Israel Innovation Institute, Merage Foundation Israel, KKL and others (BGU, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Be'er Sheva municipality). Prior to joining the Israel Innovation Institute, she led the "gap year program" at Bina - the Jewish Movement for Social Change and was involved building processes of many communities in the Negev. Sivan graduated with a BA in Hebrew Literature and Education from Ben Gurion University in Be'er Sheva.
Vice President, Executive Director GrowingIL
Doron was raised on a Negev Desert Kibbutz, working the land and maintaining the agriculture equipment. Throughout the years he has worked as a consultant to Israeli "blue-chip" companies on sustainability and CSR. Doron has joined the company in order to lead the Israel's agriculture and food tech ecosystem. At the beginning of 2018, Doron established the GrowingIL community (Ag- tech) and two years later he was appointed as the VP of the Israel Innovation Institute. Doron holds M.A. in Management (Cum Laude) from Ben-Gurion University and for several years has volunteered as a strategic consultant for Israeli's NGO's.
Executive Director, HealthIL
Yael is the Executive Director of HealthIL, the prominent integrator between healthcare challenge and tech companies in Israel, domain experts in Healthcare Innovation, Digital Transformation and community engagement, leading the Israeli healthcare system to its next-level. Prior to joining Israel Innovation Institute, Yael was a Business Development Manager at NovellusDx, a cancer diagnostic start-up. Yael obtained her M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences, summa cum laude, from the Hebrew University specializing in immunology and cancer research.
Avi leads a wide network of innovation directors in corporates, public agencies, and NGOs & in charge of domestic & international training programs & conferences.
Avi is a well-known public figure, and currently developing a social initiative to offer promising leaders from Israel's rural areas, mentoring from prominent figures in prospective fields.
Avi was the CEO of several marketing agencies & was the General Director of 'Peace Now' organization aimed to promote a viable political solution between Israel and Palestinians. Avi is an IDF officer, he served for 14 years, and was discharged as a Major. During his service Avi received special commendations for his bravery and resourcefulness from the Israeli Prime Minister.
Uriel is dedicated to connect technology, business, and environmental missions to solve climate change challenges. He established an environmental research venture, founded an air pollution technology startup, and developed global partnerships in a multinational water company. Uriel leads PLANETech, a climate change innovation community, that promotes the development and implementation of climate change technologies across a broad set of sectors. PLANETech functions as a network for the Israeli and global climate tech ecosystem, tackling the most prominent global challenge – climate change. Uriel holds a B.Sc. in Environmental Engineering from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
