Jonathan Menuhin, PhD

Jonathan's career has focused on links between organizational processes and strategic needs for more than 20 years, working as an Organizational Development consultant; an economics and business consultant in EBRD and the World Bank projects; business strategy researcher and lecturer, managing the Israeli major CSR and Sustainability consultancy; and as the Institute CEO. Jonathan received his PhD from Warwick Business School (UK) on analyzing HSBC (UK) innovation processes and has BA and MA degrees from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Tal has gained experience in analyzing initiatives and projects, incorporating goals, resources and the required operational structure. In her previous position as Director of HealthIL (formerly BeWell.il), Tal initiated innovative partnerships and projects aimed to strengthen the health care ecosystem in Israel.  Successfully planning, implementing, and executing ventures locally and globally while harnessing the power of key players in both the private and public sectors. Prior to joining the institute, Tal managed government projects with the collaboration of the European Union. Tal holds an M.A. in International Relations from the Faculty of Economics at La Spinza University in Rome, where she graduated with honors.

Yael Ophir

Yael is the Executive Director of HealthIL, the prominent integrator between healthcare challenge and tech companies in Israel, domain experts in Healthcare Innovation, Digital Transformation and community engagement, leading the Israeli healthcare system to its next-level. Prior to joining Israel Innovation Institute, Yael was a Business Development Manager at NovellusDx, a cancer diagnostic start-up. Yael obtained her M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences, summa cum laude, from the Hebrew University specializing in immunology and cancer research.

Sivan Cohen Shachari

Sivan is the executive director of DeserTech, a non-profit desert technologies innovation ecosystem which plays a key part in the Negev regional economic development initiative. DeserTech is a joint venture of Israel Innovation Institute, Merage Foundation Israel, KKL and others (BGU, Ministry of Environmental Protection, Be'er Sheva municipality). Prior to joining the Israel Innovation Institute, she led the "gap year program" at Bina - the Jewish Movement for Social Change and was involved building processes of many communities in the Negev. Sivan graduated with a BA in Hebrew Literature and Education from Ben Gurion University in Be'er Sheva.

Hadas has a tremendous passion and a proven record in promoting & executing projects that tackle social & economic challenges. Before joining the Institute, Hadas was the Head of Business Development and Special Projects at KIEDF, an NGO working in the field of Microfinance, the Sales & Marketing Director at Value^2, a Responsible Investment House, and the Marketing Director at Epsilon Investment House. In all of the above, she was a part of the executive management team. Hadas holds an Executive MBA from the Hebrew University and an MA in Economics and Psychology from Tel Aviv University. Additionally, Hadas is a Graduate of the Fellows Program for Economic, Social, and Environmental Leadership of the Heschel Center For Sustainability

Branding and visual impact have been Ziv's passion for more than 20 years. Aiming at customer experience while the conscious and unconscious connections between color, form and emotion fascinate him. Ziv is responsible PR, designing and producing various events that the communities hold aiming to excite and surprise.  Ziv specialized in retail branding and has gained extensive experience in setting up pop-up complexes. Ziv is a graduate of the Hotel and Restaurant Management program at Tadmor.

Jennifer Schwarz

Jennifer Schwarz has worked at the intersection of innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership development and community impact across private, public and NGO sectors. Previously, Jennifer was the Director of Strategic Partnerships at TAU Ventures, the VC of Tel Aviv University, and launched a global leadership development fellowship called Adaptive Leadership Lab (ALL) under the Jewish Agency for Israel. Jennifer holds an MSc in Social Innovation & Entrepreneurship from the London School of Economics & Political Science and a B.S in Environmental Policy & International Development from the University of Maryland. Born and raised in Maryland, USA, she has also lived and worked in Thailand, India, England and Israel.

Noam Sonennberg

As part of a family of farmers Noam experienced climate change’s impact first hand. He believes that technology is the key to success when tackling climate change challenges.
Noam was a CFO in a non-profit, that focused on building communities, a manager in global start ups and a fellow in the Milken Innovation Center, at the Ministry on Environment.
Noam’s experience as a manager in tech, environment & communities building led him to PLANETech which aims to engage the Israeli innovative mind to tackle climate change challenges through disruptive solutions.
Noam holds a BA in Philosophy and Economics from the Hebrew University, and a MSc in Environmental studies from the London School of Economics.
